Serve / Ministry Opportunities

Steamtown Church strives to be a church where every guest can feel the love of Jesus that we have experienced. We desire to do all things with excellence as an act of worship to our Lord Jesus. In order to create this kind of welcoming environment, we encourage all who call Steamtown home to serve on our ministry teams. Serving our guests, community, and church family is an amazing opportunity to grow in relationship with one another and in our relationship with Jesus Christ! As a growing church, there is always a need for help in the following areas…

GREETING TEAM
Every Sunday morning scores of people walk through our doors including many first time guests. Our greeters help everyone feel welcome. Whether that is greeting someone as they come in, handing them a cup of coffee, or making sure our guests know where they can take their kids for children's ministry.

CHILDREN'S TEAM
One thing that is evident all through the life of Christ is His love for children. At Steamtown we desire to show Christ's love to our children through teaching, fellowship, and worship. Children's ministry is more than just fun and games. It is an opportunity to develop Godly character from a young age. Contact Tim Rozelle for more information.

PRODUCTION TEAM
At Steamtown we strive to communicate God's truth in creative and fresh ways. Today, that means media. Pulling off all the elements of a contemporary and relevant worship service is no simple task. From setting up and tearing down, to sound, lights, video, and PowerPoint our production team has a great responsibility of creating an environment in which people can encounter the heart of God.

WORSHIP TEAM
To be a part of our worship team is about being a lead worshiper. It is about living a life of worship that leads people into the presence of God. On Sunday morning this team leads Steamtown Church into God's presence through song.  But opportunities to use musical talents extend through the week in house church as well. Anyone who is a gifted musician or vocalist with a heart to worship God is encouraged to join this team.
